Hello I am Ryan Sternlicht, a long time anime, manga, and Japanese ... to heck with that explanation, I am a insane otaku.

I have been a animated movie film buff for years, and started volunteering at US releases of Japanese animated movies in SF in August 2015.

Since I am part of many anime clubs, cosplay gatherings, and other Otaku get-togethers (Not sure if oxymoron); I quickly noticed there was a extreme lack of knowledge about when and where anime movies were coming out in America. And if they did know there was a high likelihood that they were not able to make it, either due to timing or location. Same with the companies releasing those movies, they rarely put any effort into finding the possible hot spots for their movie to be shown.

That is why I made this site. I want to bring the anime community together so that they can have a voice to tell distributors where and when they want these movies released, and how "dub or sub, or both" (Recently I went and saw the Psycho-Pass Movie; when it started playing and we all found out it was Dubbed, almost everyone sighed with annoyance, I even pondered leaving, as did others.) (whereas I got to see Only Yesterday in both Sub and Dub) (and AoT was only released as a Sub)

This site is also for distributors to find info on the community at large.
